HOW TO MAKE AN ARTIST EPK
Artists need an EPK (Electronic Press Kit) because it is a digital tool used to showcase their work and promote themselves to potential fans, booking agents, and industry professionals. An EPK typically includes information such as biographies, music samples, photos, and performance videos.
It allows musicians to easily share their work and make a professional impression to those they are trying to reach.
Here is an easy way to make your own artist EPK for free
Go to Canva.com and search for Media Kit templates
Replace the contents with your artist’s brand
Make sure to include an about section, social links, and any notable press or accolades
It’s important to showcase your best work and avoid an extraneous information
You should be able to share a one-page and two-page version of your Artist EPK
Even though music blogs and press aren’t as important as before, it’s vital you have some sort of press presence, especially if they give you quality quotes you can use
Make sure to use high-quality press photos!
Embed links to your music and press photos
This makes it easier for publicists and agents to download your photos in high quality
It’s best to avoid a QR code on your EPK, especially if someone is checking it out on their phone (cause how are they going to scan it?)
Make sure to export as a PDF so the embedded links still work

One of the primary goals of your artist EPK is to present your music, credibility, and "vibe" in a concise and professional manner. Anyone should be able to pick up your EPK, read it, and understand who you are as an artist in under 5 minutes.
